Bearded iris grows from rhizomes and needs well-drained soil and a very sunny place to grow. It may be reluctant to flower if conditions are not right.
'Rimfire' blooms bronze coloured and white flowers and grows to about 90 cm tall.

Growing instructions
The rhizomes are planted just below the surface of the soil, which must be well mixed with pumice or coarse sand to ensure good drainage, because the rhizomes rot if the soil is too wet. Needs a very sunny and warm growing place.
