Osteospermum Akila® 'Grand Canyon Mixed'
African daisy
The genus Osteospermum formerly belonged to the genus Dimorphotheca, but that genus was split so that annual species remained in the genus Dimorphotheca and a new genus, Osteospermum, was defined for perennial species. They are perennial where it does not freeze and are therefore grown as summer annuals here.
The Akila® series is characterized by very compact plants in a rich range of colors. The 'Grand Canyon Mixed' mix contains the entire color scale of this series from crimson to red, yellow and white.
Sown in January. Seed lightly covered and kept at room temperature until germination. Germination after 7-14 days at 18-20°C.
