Vial's primrose is a low-growing, perennial plant that blooms lilac-blue flowers that open from bright red buds. Needs a fairly sunny growing place and well-drained, organically rich, fairly moist soil that is on the more acidic side.
Can be short-lived if the growing conditions are not to its liking.
