Alcea 'Majorette Champagne'

Hollyhock

 

Hollyhocks are generally not perennial in this country and are therefore grown as annual or biennial plants. You can possibly make them last longer by growing them in containers and storing them in a greenhouse or cold frame over the winter.

 

'Majorette Champagne' blooms double, champagne pink flowers.

 

Sown in January. Seed lightly covered and kept at room temperature until germination. Germination can be expected after 2-3 weeks at 18-20°C. Flowers about 4 months after sowing. Needs to be repotted into larger pots as the plant grows, at least a 2 l pot is needed to reach flowering size.
