Luzula is a fairly large genus in the rush family, Juncaceae, with a global distribution with the greatest number of species growing in temperate, arctic and alpine regions. A few small species are native to Iceland.
Propagation:
Division in spring or fall.
Seed - sown in February - March
Seed lightly covered and stored at 18°C until germination.
Practically evergreen, leaves stay green for most of the winter. Needs some pruning in spring before new growth emerges.
