    Begonia (Tuber)

     

    Tuberous begonias are perennial, but require storage in a frost-free location during the winter months to survive the winter. 'Illumination Golden Picotee' is a variety of trailing begonia with dark green foliage and apricot-yellow flowers with reddish-pink edges.

     

    Sown in December-January. Seeds not covered and kept at room temperature, in a bright place until germination. Care must be taken that the soil is not too wet until germination. Germination after 2-3 weeks at 22-24°C. Blooms about 20 weeks from sowing.
