Peony
'Rome' is a peony variety that was specifically bred for growing in pots, although it can of course also grow outside in flower beds. It wil grow to only 50-60 cm tall and blooms double, magenta flowers. It is early blooming and said to be very floriferous.
Untested variety, but peonies are generally hardy in this country, although flowering can be sporadic.

Growing instructions
Paeonies need a sunny, sheltered location to thrive. They need fertile, organic, well-drained soil that is moderately moist. They prefer to remain undisturbed where they have been planted, so it is recommended to choose the planting location carefully. That does not mean that it is impossible to move them, but it can affect the flowering for some time afterwards. It is important not to plant them too deep, because then they are less likely to bloom.

Bóndarósir eru fjölærar plöntur (ekki rósir!) sem eru ágætlega harðgerðar, en til þess að þær blómstri þurfa þær góð vaxtarskilyrði. Þær þurfa frekar sólríkan stað í frjóum, vel framræstum jarðvegi í þokkalega góðu skjóli. Ef bóndarósir blómstra ekki er ástæðan yfirleitt sú að þeim hefur verið plantað of djúpt, eða þær fá ekki næga sól. Þeim er líka illa vil að það sé hróflað við þeim og geta tekið nokkur ár í að jafna sig, séu þær færðar úr stað.
